Falcons lose a nailbiter in a tremendous CIF volleyball match vs Corona Del Mar that went five sets.

TPHS Falcons last night, played point for point, shrugged off an injury to Gigi Cresto in game four and showed class, determination and grit. They lost in five sets to Corona Del Mar 25-15, 22-25, 23-25, 25-16, 19-17

The Falcons played the whole 2011 season with injuries, setbacks but never gave up, never faltered. Thank you for all your perseverance and spirit.

Torrey Pines Junior Varsity wins the Epic Fall Volleyball classic defeating LCC in final.

Torrey Pines Junior Varsity wins the Epic Fall Classic volleyball tourney on 10.22.11. The Falcons were undefeated winning six straight matches and defeated arch rival La Costa Canyon in the final 25-21. Rebecca Seabury was named tournament MVP & Amelia Armstrong was named to the all tournament team.

Congratulations to the TPHS JV team, Coach Matt and all the wondeful parents who supported their effort.

They played fantastic & finished 4th overall in the tournament that featured 5+ nationally ranked HS teams from California. The TPHS Freshman team played in the Titan Novice tournament @ Epic Volleyball Club this weekend. They made it to the championship match with a record of 5-0. It a hard fought finals match vs LCC but they lost and finished 2nd overall for the tournament. Two TPHS freshmen made the all tourney team: Camille Oemcke and Emma Shaffer. Congrats to all of the TPHS freshmen players on a great effort. Freshmen finished 5-1.

TPHS Varsity posted a 4-2 record at the Durango Fall Classic this weekend and finished 10th in the tournament that featured 10+ nationally ranked HS teams from all across the U.S. GO FALCONS!

The TPHS JV finished 3rd this weekend at the Titan Invitational tourney @ Epic VBall club. The JV posted a 4-1 record at the tourney.
